To learn how to make the Bluetooth device discoverable, check the device's documentation or visit the manufacturer's website. Follow additional instructions if they appear, then select Done.
Here’s how: Check in quick settings: Select the Network, Sound, or Battery icons ( ) on the right side of the taskbar, look for the Bluetooth quick setting, then select Bluetooth to turn it on. You’ll see “Not connected” if your Windows 11 device isn’t connected to any Bluetooth accessories.
Make sure the other device is ready to receive files via Bluetooth. For more information about receiving files via Bluetooth: In the Select where to send your files page, select the device to share the file with, and then select the Next button.
When a notification appears that a new Bluetooth device was found, select Connect. If you have more than one hearing device, you may need to connect to each one.
For Bluetooth, make sure Bluetooth is turned on for your computer and that the device you’re connecting to is on and discoverable. For USB, make sure your device is on and connected by a USB cable to your computer.
In the Bluetooth & devices > Devices window, under the Device settings section, ensure the setting Use LE Audio when available is switched On. If this setting isn't available, the Windows device doesn't currently support LE Audio.
The Bluetooth icon or toggle may be missing or appear grayed out in Settings or Action Center if Windows cannot detect or enable the Bluetooth feature. When this happens, Bluetooth options may not appear, or you may not be able to turn Bluetooth on or off.
Turn on Bluetooth on both the Windows device and the hotspot device, and ensure the devices are paired via Bluetooth to each other. For more information, see Pair a Bluetooth device in Windows. On the hotspot device, activate the hotspot and set it to share over Bluetooth.
