Windows 10 Screen Resolution Hi I just installed the Windows 10 Tech Preview. It setup fine as an operating system but there is a bit of an issue with the screen resolution. My computer has a screen resolution of 1366 x 768. The tech preview, however, displays as a square on my normally rectangular screen.
Are you comparing the font size of both the versions present on the same computer or different computer? If it is on two different computers, then there are lots of display aspects that come up like the screen size, screen resolution, graphics card etc. that may be changing the display.
My experience with this problem was the Microsoft screen display options. Use the basic screen background options, not the Aero option screens. I just proved this to myself by changing from Aero to basic and back. When in Aero screen, the windows fade in and out; very slow. To change, rightclick desktop, click personalize. Pick the Windows 7 Basic Theme. The fade will quit.

When I enter and leave the fullscreen repeatedly for example with chrome in youtube or any other video in html5 my screen freezes eventually with the mouse being visible and moving but everything else is frozen.
However, I found out by accident that if you are not viewing "full screen" the body of the message is not displayed until you select a specific message. The point of my question was that I did not want the content (text) of the message to be displayed without specifically selecting to read that message.
when you see the green color screen, press on Windows + PinrtScreen on your keyboard, you can see the files on File explorer > Pictures > Screenshots then try to view it on another device, like cellphone, tv, another computer, etc. and let's see if the problem is with your monitor
While attempting to set up the display again with the TV, upon connecting the HDMI, the TV stays black, but is still being treated as my primary monitor, and any applications I open are opening on the TV... but it's still a black screen. Is there a way to make application windows open on my black-screened TV?
