Three skydivers witnessed a small plane crash in Wisconsin, jumped to assist, and helped four survivors until emergency crews arrived.
At least one person was injured in a small plane crash Thursday afternoon at Paine Field Airport in Snohomish County. The plane crashed on the west side of the airport, which has asked residents to avoid the area.
The FlyDubai flight initially triggered a 7700 “general emergency” signal, aviation tracking site FlightRadar24 reported. It then switched to a 7500 code, suggesting “unlawful interference,” before switching back to a 7700, the tracking site said.
Around 6:29 p.m., the plane crashed in Indian Chase Meadows Park, Bolingbrook fire officials said. The two occupants were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in stable condition.
